Glyoxalase I

Glyoxalase I catalyzes the generation of S-lactoylglutathione from hemimercaptal. It is involved in the prevention of cell damage by cytotoxic metabolites, the normal osteoclastogenesis and the TNF-activated NF-κB transcriptional activity.
