Mouse IL-2 ELISA Kit
IL-2 is interleukin-2 (referred to as interleukin-2), also known as T cell growth factor (TCGF), is a glycosylated α helical polypeptide with a molecular weight of about 15-18 kDa, belonging to the γc cytokine family, existing in monomeric form, with a very short half-life (<30 min). Mature mouse IL-2 is composed of 149 amino acids left after the 20-amino acid signal peptide is cleaved from 169 amino acids, and the mature domain presents a α helix structure in its natural state, and post-translational processing includes O-glycosylation of the third Thr site and the formation of disulfide bonds. There are three cysteine residues (Cys) in the protein chain, located at positions 58, 105, and 125. The binding of cysteine residues at positions 58 and 105 to form disulfide bonds is a prerequisite for protein activity. The amino acid homology of mature mouse IL-2 with human and rat IL-2 was 56% and 73%, respectively. γδ T cells, activated CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, nerve cells, microglia and hematopoietic stem cells all secrete IL-2.
At present, this kit is mainly used to specifically detect the content of cytokines in human serum, plasma, cell or tissue lysate, or cell culture supernatant.
