Nrf2 activator
Featured Products
CDDO-TFEA (CAS 932730-52-4) is a synthetic triterpenoid derivative functioning as an activator of the Nrf2/ARE signaling pathway. Activation of this pathway induces nuclear translocation of Nrf2 and enhances the expression of downstream antioxidant enzymes such as NQO-1, HO-1, and glutathione reductase. In experimental models, CDDO-TFEA decreased inflammatory cell infiltration and cytokine production (IL-6, IL-17, IFNγ, TNFα, GMCSF), reduced neuroinflammation, and promoted neuronal survival. Its modulatory effects position CDDO-TFEA as relevant for research involving neurodegenerative conditions including ALS and Huntington’s disease.
