Glycolithocholic Acid 3-sulfate (sodium salt)
Glycolithocholic Acid 3-sulfate (sodium salt) is a polar bile acid derivative formed by the modification of 3-position sulfation after the combination of lithocholic acid (LCA) and glycine. When existing in the form of disodium salt, it has strong water solubility. This compound can significantly inhibit the replication of HIV-1 by interfering with the fusion process of the HIV-1 virus with the host cell membrane or inhibiting the host factors required for viral replication. Its sulfated modification group may play a key blocking role in the interaction between the viral envelope protein and the host receptor.
