Antifade Mounting Medium with Hoechst 33342 and PI

Antifade Mounting Medium with Hoechst 33342 and PI is a ready-to-use mounting solution containing two fluorescent nuclear dyes (Hoechst 33342 and PI). This dual-purpose reagent not only minimizes photobleaching in immunofluorescence experiments but also enables simultaneous nuclear staining during the mounting step. Hoechst 33342 penetrates and stains all cells, while PI enters and stains only necrotic cells with compromised membranes.

Simply apply one drop to the sample and cover with a coverslip. At a typical volume of 50 μL per sample, the 25 mL package is sufficient for approximately 500 tests.
