Penicillin-Streptomycin Solution (100×)

Penicillin-Streptomycin Solution (100×) is a sterile antibiotic mixture intended for use in cell culture applications to prevent bacterial contamination. The solution is sterile-filtered and can be added directly to cell culture medium.

This product is formulated in 0.9% NaCl and contains 10,000 units/mL penicillin and 10 mg/mL streptomycin. The recommended final working concentration is 100 units/mL penicillin and 0.1 mg/mL streptomycin, achieved by a 1:100 dilution of the 100X stock solution.

100 mL of this solution is sufficient to prepare 10 L of complete growth medium.
