An artificially synthesized heptapeptide that can serve as a substrate for camp-dependent protein kinase (PKA)
Featured Products
Kemptide acetate salt is an artificially synthesized heptapeptide with the sequence of Leu-Arg-Arg-Ala-Ser-Leu-Gly, existing in the form of acetate. It is widely used as a specific substrate for cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) -dependent protein kinase (PKA). Due to its simple structure and high specificity, Kemptide is often used to detect the activity of PKA in in vitro experiments. The activity changes of PKA can be effectively evaluated by determining the phosphorylation degree of Kemptide.
