Dynamin inhibitory peptide
Dynamin inhibitory peptide (CAS: 251634-21-6) is a peptide-based inhibitor targeting the GTPase dynamin. It is designed to competitively block the interaction between dynamin and amphiphysin proteins, thereby inhibiting dynamin-dependent internalization pathways. Dynamin inhibitory peptide exerts its biological activity primarily by disrupting dynamin–amphiphysin binding. This mechanism effectively inhibits endocytic processes and reduces receptor internalization, including the cellular uptake of GABA receptors in neuronal models. Based on these pharmacological properties, Dynamin inhibitory peptide holds research potential in the study of vesicle trafficking, inhibition of endocytic pathways, and modulation of receptor internalization.
