An effective anticoagulant agent
Featured Products
Warfarin sodium is an effective anticoagulant agent, and acts as an antagonist of vitamin K1 recycling by inhibiting vitamin K epoxide reductase (VKOR), blocking the regeneration cycle of vitamin K1. Thus consuming active vitamin K1 in the body. Vitamin K1 is an essential cofactor in the synthesis of clotting factors II, VII, IX and X, and Warfarin sodium significantly prolongs the clotting time by reducing the activity of these clotting factors.
