Veledimex (INXN-1001) is a synthetic analog of the insect ecdysone ecdysone, an orally active activating ligand for a proprietary gene therapy promoter system.Veledimex can be used to activate certain genes using the ecdysone receptor (EcR) inducible gene regulatory system, RheoSwitch Research System (RTS). Veledimex crosses the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in in situ GL-261 mice and cynomolgus monkeys.
