Background

UC2288 is a novel, cell permeable and orally active attenuating reagent (with relatively selective activity against p21), synthesized based on the structure of sorafenib.UC2288 down-regulates the expression of p21 mRNA and reduces the p21 protein level without dependence on p53, and has little effect on the stability of the p21 protein.UC2288 has no inhibitory effect on VEGFR2 and kinase There was no inhibitory effect, even at 10 μM.
