TFMB-(S)-2-HG
TFMB-(S) -2-Hg is an effective TET2 inhibitor that can significantly inhibit the activity of the TET2 enzyme. In addition, it can also inhibit the function of EglN prolyl hydroxylase. Studies have shown that TFMB-(S) -2-Hg can down-regulate the expression levels of Wnt3a and β-catenin proteins in the nucleus, thereby inhibiting the activity of the Wnt signaling pathway. Further experiments revealed that TFMB-(S) -2-Hg could significantly inhibit the osteogenic differentiation process of cells, suggesting that it might affect the differentiation function of cells by regulating related signaling pathways. Since TET2 and EglN enzymes play important roles in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), TFMB-(S) -2-Hg has the potential to be used as a research tool for AML.
