novel orally active TRH analogue
Featured Products
Taltirelin (CAS No.: 103300-74-9) is a thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH) analog. As a superagonist of the TRH receptor, it has an IC50 of 910 nM and an EC50 of 36 nM, and can effectively stimulate an increase in intracellular calcium ion concentration. This compound can cross the blood-brain barrier and exhibits good central nervous system activity. In cellular and animal model studies of Parkinson’s disease, Taltirelin shows neuroprotective effects, improving cell viability and reducing apoptosis. In addition, in a mouse model of cancer-related fatigue, Taltirelin can alleviate fatigue-like behavior. The dose or concentration used in experiments typically depends on the experimental design and research objectives.
