Background

SRI-42127 is a translocation inhibitor. It is an RNA regulatory factor that binds to ARE elements, and translocation promotes the production of inflammatory cytokines in glial cells. In contrast, SRI-42127 destabilizes mRNA and inhibits gene promoter activation.SRI-42127 also inhibits microglia activation and attenuates neutrophil and monocyte recruitment/chemotaxis.
