Sinapine is an alkaloid isolated from the seeds of species in the family Cruciferae.Sinapine has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antitumor, antiangiogenic and radioprotective effects.Sinapine is also an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and is used in the study of Alzheimer's disease, ataxia, myasthenia gravis and Parkinson's disease.
