RPR-260243 is a potent channel inhibitor that slows the inactivation and deactivation of hERG1 channels. HERG currents modified by RPR-260243 were inhibited by Dofetilide (IC=58nM).RPR-260243 did not show activator-like effects on other voltage-dependent ion channels, including the closely related ERG3K+ channel.
