RppH (RNA 5’ Pyrophosphohydrolase)
RppH (RNA 5’ Pyrophosphohydrolase) from bacterial, also known as NudH/YgdP, can catalyze the hydrolysis of 5’-triphosphorylated RNA (ppp-RNA), remove pyrophosphate (PPi) and generate 5’-monophosphorylated RNA (p-RNA). RppH can also cleave diadenosine pentaphosphate (Ap5A) into ADP and ATP. It is commonly used for 5’ end analysis of RNA. It can also be used in combination with XRN-1 to remove 5’-triphosphorylated RNA, as well as for dephosphorylating 5’-triphosphorylated small RNA prior to library construction and sequencing.
