Onametostat
Catalog No.
A9936
A inhibitor of the protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5)
Featured Products
Onametostat is a novel inhibitor of the protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). PRMT5 is a key enzyme, and overactive PRMT5 is closely related to the occurrence and development of a variety of cancers, so it becomes an important target for anticancer drug development. Onametostat, by selectively inhibiting the activity of PRMT5 and preventing it from catalyzing symmetric dimethylation of arginine residues, thereby interfering with the growth and proliferation of cancer cells, shows promising prospects in the treatment of tumors with overexpression of PRMT5.
