Norartocarpetin

Norartocarpetin is a tyrosinase inhibitor.Norartocarpetin has strong tyrosinase inhibitory activity with an inhibitory activity value of 0.47 μM.Norartocarpetin has been used as an anti-browning agent in food systems.Norartocarpetin also has significant anticancer activity against lung cancer cells (NCI- H460) with a value of 22 μM.The antiproliferative effect of Norartocarpetin is mediated by targeting the Ras/Raf/MAPK signaling pathway.
