HyperLight™ LAMP Colorimetric Assay Kit
Loop Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) is a new technique for nucleic acid amplification in vitro. The reaction process is always maintained at a constant temperature, and the rapid expansion of nucleic acid is carried out by adding different active enzymes and their specific primers. The principle of the LAMP Colorimetric Assay Kit is to amplify DNA using LAMP method and to detect the presence of target DNA in a sample by color change of the reaction system. Compared with conventional PCR, LAMP does not require thermal denaturation, temperature cycling, and subsequent electrophoresis and ultraviolet observation of the template, and only needs to incubate at isothermal conditions for 1 h to complete nucleic acid amplification reaction, which has the advantages of simple and rapid, high sensitivity, and strong specificity.
This kit uses dU incorporation and UDG enzyme to prevent contamination of isothermal amplification products, including Bst DNA Polymerase with chain replacement activity. By designing 4-6 specific isothermal amplification primers for different regions of target genes, the target DNA in samples can be detected quickly, effectively and with high sensitivity. And the use of visual color change technology, without electrophoresis, through the naked eye to observe the color change can judge the result, suitable for detecting whether there is a specific pathogen, microbial contamination in the sample.
