HA-1004 is a selective inhibitor of lipolysis and induces vasorelaxation.HA-1004 is also a dual inhibitor of cyclic GMP-dependent protein kinases and cyclic AMP-dependent proteins involved in smooth muscle, second messenger, cyclic AMP, and cyclic GMP-regulatory mechanisms.HA-1004 acts as a vasodilator to inhibit contraction of rabbit aortic strips or antagonizes morphine withdrawal rat model and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) phosphorylation.
