DM1-SMe is an unbound form of Maytansinoid in IMGN901. In a panel of human tumor cell lines, DM1-SMe was approximately 3-10 times more potent than the parent Maytansinoid, with an IC range of 0.003 to 0.01 nM for toxicity to a panel of cancer cells.
