A stable isotope deuterated compound of Dapoxetine hydrochloride
Featured Products
Dapoxetine hydrochloride (CAS No.: 2699607-47-9) is a deuterated analog of Dapoxetine hydrochloride. Its parent compound, Dapoxetine hydrochloride, is a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) mainly used for the treatment of premature ejaculation. Dapoxetine hydrochloride prolongs ejaculatory latency by inhibiting the serotonin transporter (SLC6A4) and increasing serotonin levels in the synaptic cleft. In in vitro studies, Dapoxetine hydrochloride shows inhibitory activity against serotonin reuptake at nanomolar to low micromolar levels. In cell and animal models, Dapoxetine hydrochloride is commonly used to study the effects of serotonin reuptake inhibition on neurotransmission and behavior. The dose or concentration used in experiments typically depends on the experimental design and research objectives.
