A stable isotope deuterated compound of Clevidipine
Featured Products
Clevidipine-d7 is the stable isotope-labeled counterpart of Clevidipine. Clevidipine is a short-acting dihydropyridine calcium channel antagonist, mainly used for the treatment of perioperative hypertension. Clevidipine selectively blocks L-type calcium channels, inhibiting calcium influx, thereby causing vascular smooth muscle relaxation and achieving an antihypertensive effect. In vitro studies show that Clevidipine has an IC50 of approximately 7.1 nM against L-type calcium channels, indicating potent inhibitory activity. As a deuterated isotope-labeled compound, Clevidipine-d7 is widely used in pharmacokinetic and drug metabolism studies, using mass spectrometry to track the drug’s metabolic pathways and rates in vivo. The dose or concentration used in experiments typically depends on the experimental design and research objectives.
