Bovine Serum Albumin Standard (5 mg/mL)

The BSA standard is a high-quality calibrator widely used for establishing standard curves and calibration controls in total protein determination assays. BSA is commonly employed as the calibration protein for total protein quantification. This standard can be used as a protein concentration calibration standard in BCA, Bradford, or other protein assays, as a protein recovery control for desalting and other chromatography column procedures, and for general calibration of spectrophotometer UV lamps (absorbance at 280 nm).
