Description

Biotin-16-CTP is a biotin-labeled cytidine triphosphate (CTP) that is used for RNA detection and purification. The biotin label enables RNA molecules to bind to streptavidin or anti-biotin proteins, facilitating specific detection and purification of RNA. During in vitro transcription reactions, Biotin-16-CTP can be incorporated into RNA molecules, producing biotin-labeled RNA. This labeled RNA is widely utilized in the study of RNA-protein interactions, RNA detection, and RNA purification. Furthermore, biotin-labeled RNA can be employed in in vivo experiments to investigate RNA localization and function within cells.
