H1 histamine receptor antagonist
Featured Products
Bilastine (CAS No.: 202189-78-4) is a novel non-sedating H1 receptor antagonist, mainly used for the treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and urticaria and other allergic diseases. It selectively blocks the histamine H1 receptor, thereby inhibiting histamine-mediated allergic responses. In vitro studies show that Bilastine has high affinity for the H1 receptor and very low affinity for 30 other receptors, demonstrating high selectivity. In animal models, Bilastine can effectively reduce histamine-induced responses such as smooth muscle contraction, bronchospasm, increased endothelial permeability, and microvascular extravasation. In cell and animal experiments, Bilastine is typically applied at doses or concentrations depending on the experimental design and research objectives to evaluate its anti-allergic effects and safety.
