Obexelimab (XmAb5871) is a humanized anti-CD19 antibody. Obexelimab can inhibit B cell activation and function by inhibiting B cell receptor (BCR)-mediated calcium flux and promoting Fcγ receptor IIb inhibitory receptor (FcγRIIb) phosphorylation, thereby inducing B cell apoptosis. Obexelimab can be used in the study of rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
