AC1903 is a specific selective inhibitor with podocytoprotective properties.AC1903 had no effect on TRPC4 or TRPC6current and showed no off-target effects in kinase profiling. In a rat model of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), AC1903 inhibited severe proteinuria and prevented podocyte loss.
