Description

2'-O-Methylpseudo-UTP is a modified nucleoside triphosphate in which the 2'-hydroxyl group of pseudouridine is methylated. This modification enhances RNA stability and functionality, broadening its applications in biological systems. 2'-O-Methylpseudo-UTP can be incorporated into RNA molecules during in vitro transcription reactions, generating RNAs containing this modification. The methylation reduces RNA degradation, improving its stability and prolonging its persistence in both in vitro and in vivo experiments. Additionally, pseudouridine modifications are typically associated with translational regulation and RNA-protein interactions, making 2'-O-Methylpseudo-UTP particularly valuable for investigating the mechanisms underlying these interactions.
