2-Chloro-ATP
Catalog No.
B8826
An effective inhibitor of soluble guanylate cyclase
Featured Products
2-Chloro-ATP, a chlorinated derivative of ATP, is an effective inhibitor of soluble guanylate cyclase, which can specifically inhibit the activity of this enzyme, thus affecting the production of intracellular cGMP. Furthermore, 2-Chloro-ATP works at low concentrations, significantly increasing the intracellular calcium ion (Ca² +) concentration through a mechanism independent of inositol phosphate (IP3) production. This increased concentration of calcium ions may be related to the activation of specific purine receptors (P2 receptors) on the cell membrane.
