Background

Mcl1-IN-1 is a small molecule, potent and selective inhibitor of myeloid cell factor 1 (Mcl-1) with an IC50 value of 2.4 μM [1].

Mcl1-IN-1 has been reported to potently inhibit Mcl-1 which acted as an important therapeutic target for the treatment of non-solid tumor and solid tumor malignancies with an IC50 value of 2.4 μM. The inhibition ability of Mcl1-IN-1 to Mcl-1 was 40-fold more than Bcl-xL of which IC50 is 100 μM. Mcl1-IN-1 has the favorable physicochemical properties, for example, lack of any apparent toxicophores [1].
