Description

ATAC-Seq (Assay for Transposase-Accessible Chromatin with High-throughput Sequencing) is a new method developed for mapping chromatin accessibility genome-wide. The method is used to infer regions of increased accessibility, as well as to map regions of transcription/regulation factor binding and nucleosome position. The purpose of experiments is answering deep questions about regulation of gene expression through detection of promoters, enhancers, or other regulatory elements binding regions, characterizing relationships between cis-regulatory elements and non-coding genetic variation.

Our product ATAC-Seq Library Preparation Kit provides a simple, convenient and time-saving tool for you to analyze epigenetic information of your cells or tissues. The kit includes a hyperactive Tn5 transposase, which fragments the DNA in open regions of chromatin and tags the DNA with sequencing adapters simultaneously. The adapters are compatible with the Illumina sequencing platform, so you can obtain the nucleotide base sequence after the workflow. 20-30 mg tissue or 50,000-100,000 cells are applicable for each reaction.
