Retatrutide

Retatrutide is a novel triple-agonist peptide drug that simultaneously activates the glucagon receptor (GCGR), glucose-dependent insulin-stimulating polypeptide receptor (GIPR), and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R). The EC50 values were 5.79 nM, 0.0643 nM and 0.775 nM, respectively. This triple activation mechanism enables Retatrutide to simultaneously regulate glucose metabolism, insulin secretion, and energy metabolism, with the potential to improve blood glucose control, promote weight loss, and ameliorate metabolic syndrome.
