His-tag Protein Purification Kit (Reductant and Chelator Resistant)
The His-tag Protein Purification Kit extracts His-tagged recombinant proteins from cells/lysates using affinity media (e.g., Ni-Agarose, Ni-NTA) that bind histidine residues. Target proteins are adsorbed, impurities are washed off, and targets are eluted via buffer changes. Tolerating reducing agents (e.g., 20 mM DTT) and chelators (e.g., 20 mM EDTA) but incompatible with 8 M urea or 6 M guanidine hydrochloride (requiring dialysis for inclusion body proteins), it enables 10 purifications (≈1g bacterial pellet each) with max 10-15 mg total protein (3-10 mg for 50 kD proteins) or 500 small-scale purifications without columns.
