GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase is a highly active mutant of wild type Tn5 Transposase and can efficiently insert Tn5 transposon into a target DNA sequence in vitro. The GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase specifically recognizes the mosaic end (ME) sequences of inverted repeats at both ends of Tn5 transposon. GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase generate transposition efficiency 1000-fold higher in vitro than the wild type.
The insertion site of GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase has high randomness, and double-stranded DNA fragments containing paired recognition sequences can be randomly integrated into the genome of the host cells (in vitro transgene manipulation). In addition, GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase often used in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and other fields.

Store the GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase at -80°C, and store other components at -20°C.
The prepared transposome should be stored at -20°C and is stable for at least one year.
*Note: The mass concentration of GenuinePrep Tn5 Transposase is 400 ng/μL, which is converted to a molar concentration of 7.5 pmol/μL.
