Description

GTP, also known as Guanosine-5'-triphosphate, can be utilized in various molecular biology applications such as in vitro transcription, RNA amplification, and siRNA synthesis. Additionally, GTP plays a critical regulatory role in signal transduction as a phosphate or pyrophosphate messenger: it activates G-proteins, which subsequently initiate protein kinase-mediated signaling cascades, thus influencing cellular behaviors including cell proliferation and differentiation. GTP also serves as a high-energy nucleotide precursor, participating in enzymatic synthesis processes of DNA and RNA.

This product is prepared from GTP trisodium salt with purity ≥99% (HPLC) as a clear, colorless aqueous solution, at a concentration of 100 mM and pH (25°C) of 7.0 ± 0.1, free from DNase and RNase contamination.
