Description

Anti-rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies specifically targeting rabbit immunoglobulins, designed to detect, sort, or purify associated targets. Secondary antibodies provide additional functionality, allowing users to employ various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They also offer higher sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with immunoglobulin pools derived from the target species. They may undergo further purification and modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, conjugation labeling, etc.) to create highly specific reagents.
