Anti-mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies specifically recognizing mouse immunoglobulins, used for detecting, sorting, or purifying their respective targets. Secondary antibodies offer additional functionalities, enabling users to apply various detection systems (such as HRP, AP, fluorescence). They can also enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing a host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species. These antibodies can be further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, labeling conjugation) to produce highly-specific reagents.
