Description

Anti-mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies specific to mouse immunoglobulins that can be used for detection, sorting, or purification of their specific targets. Secondary antibodies offer enhanced functionality, allowing users to utilize various detection systems (such as HRP, AP, fluorescent labels). They also provide increased sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are produced by immunizing host animals with immunoglobulin pools from the target species and can be further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, conjugation with labels) to create highly specific reagents.
