Description

Anti-mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies specifically targeted against mouse immunoglobulins, suitable for detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. Secondary antibodies offer expanded functionality by enabling users to employ various detection systems (such as HRP, AP, and fluorescence). Additionally, they can provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody molecule. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by further purification and modification steps (such as immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, and conjugation labeling) to produce highly specific reagents.
