Description

Anti-rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins, suitable for detection, sorting, or purification of their specific targets. Secondary antibodies provide additional functionalities, allowing users to utilize various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence). They can also offer enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing a host animal with an immunoglobulin pool from the target species. These antibodies can be further purified and modified (such as by immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, conjugation labeling, etc.) to produce highly specific reagents.
