Description

Anti-rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies specifically targeting rabbit immunoglobulins. They can be utilized for detecting, sorting, or purifying their specific targets. Secondary antibodies provide enhanced functionalities, enabling users to employ various detection systems (such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence). They also offer increased sensitivity through signal amplification because multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody molecule. Typically, secondary antibodies are produced by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by additional purification and modifications (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, conjugate labeling) to generate highly specific reagents.
