Protease Inhibitor Cocktail (EDTA-Free, 100X in DMSO)
Cell crude extracts contain various endogenous enzymes, such as phosphatases and proteases, capable of degrading proteins present in the extracts. The optimal strategy to enhance intact protein yield is adding specific inhibitors targeting these enzymes. This Protease Inhibitor Cocktail is used in fungal and yeast extracts to improve protein stability by inhibiting proteases responsible for degrading both phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated protein substrates.
This Protease Inhibitor Cocktail consists of individual compounds including AEBSF, 1,10-Phenanthroline, E-64, and Pepstatin A, which provide broad-spectrum, specific inhibition of cysteine proteases, serine proteases, aspartic proteases, and metalloproteases. It is optimized and tested for fungal and yeast extracts. This cocktail is available as a ready-to-use solution dissolved in DMSO.

Thaw at room temperature, add at 1:100 (v/v) dilution to solution samples (such as yeast extracts) before assaying.
Applications: WB, Co-IP, pull-down, IF, IHC, kinase assay and etc.
