Chemically modified biotin analogues, often used for the 3 'end labeling of RNA/miRNA
Featured Products
pCp-Desthiobiotin is a chemically modified biotin analogs commonly used for the 3 'end labeling of RNA/miRNA. By using T4 RNA ligase, a single Desthiobiotin molecule can be coupled to the 3' -OH group of RNA/miRNA. The resulting thiobiotin-labeled RNA/miRNA probes are ideal for hybridization experiments. Thiobiotin can be detected by streptavidin and horseradish peroxidase (HRP), alkaline phosphatase (AP) or coupled fluorescent dye.
