Featured Products
Ostruthin (Ostruthine) is a natural coumarin compound with antibacterial activity, which can effectively inhibit the growth of mycobacteria. It was originally isolated from the roots of Peucedanum ostruthium (commonly known as Masterwort), a plant of the Apiaceae family. Studies have shown that Ostruthin exhibits significant inhibitory effects on a variety of Gram-positive microorganisms, especially showing obvious antibacterial activity against Mycobacterium genera (such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis). In addition, Ostruthin also exhibits certain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and has potential medicinal value.
