Biotin-16-UTP
Catalog No.
B8154
A biotin-labeled nucleotide analog, used to form labeled RNA
Featured Products
Biotin-16-UTP is a biotin-labeled uridine triphosphate used for RNA detection and purification. The biotin label allows RNA molecules to bind with streptavidin or anti-biotin proteins, facilitating specific RNA detection and purification. In in vitro transcription reactions, Biotin-16-UTP can be incorporated into RNA molecules, generating biotin-labeled RNA. This labeled RNA has wide applications in RNA-protein interaction studies, RNA detection, and RNA purification. Additionally, biotin-labeled RNA can be applied in in vivo experiments to investigate RNA localization and function within cells.
