Streptavidin - Cy3

Streptavidin is a 52,800-dalton tetrameric protein with extremely high affinity for biotin. Each molecule of streptavidin can bind four molecules of biotin, and this binding is irreversible. Streptavidin-Cy3 is used to detect biotinylated antibodies, proteins, nucleic acids or other biomolecules. It can be applied in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunofluorescence (IF), in situ hybridization (ISH), or flow cytometry. Cy3 has a maximum excitation wavelength of 554 nm and a maximum emission wavelength of 568 nm, providing bright fluorescent labeling.

Store at 2-8°C. Light exposure should be avoided. Do not freeze.
