NOD-IN-1
NOD-IN-1 (CAS No.: 132819-92-2) is a small-molecule inhibitor of nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptors, specifically targeting both NOD1 and NOD2, key intracellular pattern recognition receptors involved in innate immune signaling and inflammatory responses. As a derivative of nodinitib-1, NOD-IN-1 functions as a mixed inhibitor and effectively suppresses ligand-induced activation of these receptors, including inhibition of C12-iE-DAP-stimulated NF-κB signaling in engineered cell systems expressing human recombinant NOD1 or NOD2. It exhibits inhibitory activity in the low micromolar range, with comparable potency against both targets, making it a valuable pharmacological tool for probing NOD-mediated pathways. By modulating NF-κB activation, NOD-IN-1 is relevant for studies investigating host–microbe interactions, inflammatory signaling cascades, and the molecular basis of immune-related disorders. In research settings, it is commonly applied in cell-based assays to evaluate NOD-dependent signaling and may also be used in preclinical models to explore the therapeutic potential of NOD pathway inhibition, with experimental concentrations adjusted according to specific assay conditions and study objectives.
