potent Kif15 kinesin inhibitor
Featured Products
Kif15-IN-1 (CAS 672926-32-8) is a small molecule inhibitor targeting kinesin family member 15 (Kif15), also termed kinesin-12 or HKLP2. Kif15 is a kinesin-related motor protein expressed during mitosis, crucially involved in the formation and stabilization of bipolar microtubule spindles, acting redundantly with KIF11 (Eg5). Inhibition of Kif15 by Kif15-IN-1 results in suppression of tumor cell proliferation, highlighting its utility in cell biology research focused on mitotic spindle mechanics and its potential in oncology as a candidate for antiproliferative strategies.
